This is an over 21 members club, so you’ll have to purchase a membership. Also expect to BYOB, and check it with the bartender. The Loft doesn’t require you to be nude, so sometimes people just hang around fully clothed waiting on someone else to get the fun started. There are a lot of single guys hoping for some action, which can sometimes have a weird vibe, although we’ve never had a problem with pushy men – they have always proven polite. The Loft is also in a slightly sketch neighborhood and doesn’t provide secure parking. They also have an outside area for smokers, if that’s your thing (this is also where you’ll find a glory hole). Downstairs is where you’ll find the dance floor, bar, dungeon area, some seating, the stage and some nooks. Off from the bar are private rooms and even rentable rooms. Upstairs is the balcony and some play areas.

Though the club opens at 9:30, you may find that early depending on what you’re looking for. Around 11:30 there begins a steady flow of people coming in.  All kinds of people.  It is a very eclectic cross section of people in the lifestyle. The vibe is more warehouse club and polished club, keep that in mind. Just keep an open and make sure your date is the same. There is some great people watching and plenty of ways to interact with other like minded folks. The fees are very reasonable and the place is clean, given it is a warehouse. The main thing we dislike about The Loft is the admission of single men, who seem to be always admitted for a price. We also wish there were more play areas, but their space is limited. This club isn’t for everyone and perhaps not even for first timers, but we look forward to them growing in the Atlanta market and continuing to improve. We also love that they are bringing in some daytime parties during the week and weekends. And, yes they are LGBTQ friendly.
