The Most Romantic Restaurants
To Visit In Miami Beach, Florida

Today’s romantic culture shouldn’t be ruled by ordinary dinners, Netflix binges or just the occasional happy hour outing. Some of the most romantic gestures include the proverbial dinner date. So, in that vein let’s see what Miami has to offer us when it comes to romantic dining. Here’s what we’ve found.

Le Sirenuse Miami Restaurant

This is Old Florida with a bit of history. Dripping in style, this Mediterranean restaurant is a harken back to the old country of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Beautiful decor is carried throughout the space. Le Sirenuse’s carefree coastal vibes and fresh pasta dishes have the power to mentally whisk you away, you’ll feel anywhere but home. For a taste of la dolce vita, start with a classic Bellini—the brunch drink makes for a fantastic aperitif — and make your way through the menu sampling delicate salads, pastas cooked al dente and a variety of seafood options. Located at the northern end of Miami Beach in the Surf Club of the Four Seasons.

Gianni's At The Former Versace Mansion

Located in The Villa Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion, Gianni’s offers delicious gourmet Italian Mediterranean food and wine selections in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere on world famous Ocean Drive in the South Beach area of Miami Beach. You can dine outdoors by that famous pool and pretend you’re staying in the hotel. Lunch served 7 days a week , from 12pm to 4:00pm. The prix fixe menu includes an appetizer, an entree and dessert for about $29, plus tax and service fee. Dinner is served 7 days a week, from 6pm to 12am. Located right on Ocean Drive in the very essence of Miami Beach.

Jaya at the Setai

Jaya, which means victory in Sanskrit, was chosen in honor of renowned interior designer Jaya Ibrahim and the Setai Hotel’s first decade of successful Asian-inspired hospitality. Jaya at The Setai boasts standout dishes from Thailand, Korea, Indian, China and Japan. Named one of Miami’s “hottest new restaurants,” Jaya incorporates many traditional culinary techniques. Its menu features bold and modern Asian cuisine while also presenting longtime Setai favorites including Peking Duck, Naan breads, Indian curries, Tandoor sea bass and Dim Sums.

Casa Tua

Casa Tua is a sleek and chic country Italian-style establishment set in a refurbished 1925 Mediterranean-style two-story house. Known as one of the city’s finest and fussiest big-bucks restaurants. With several living-room style nooks, Casa Tua offers the cozy familiarity of a night in — with much, much better food. If you’ve ever dreamed of hiring a notable chef to come over and cook you a fancy dinner, book a table at Casa Tua for an equally pricey experience with zero cleanup. The lamb chops are stratospheric in price ($40+), but orgasmic in taste. After dinner, head upstairs to the lounge (if staff let you—the place is technically a members-only club), where the beautiful people commune over equally pricy cocktails.

Pied à Terre

Top rated Restaurant, Pied a Terre restaurant is the soul and life of the historic Cadet Hotel, a fixture on Miami Beach since early 1942. Pied a Terre is a place to meet, remember flavors, create new ones and enjoy an exquisite culinary experience paired with exclusive wines in an environment of elegance. Pied a Terre’s intimate setting has 11 tables inside and an outdoor dining area from tables of 2 to larger parties of 45. You’ll find Mediterranean-French cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. There is a lovely tasting menu, and a la carte menu and special promotion menus in summer. Winner of the Wine Spectator Award 2013-2018 and located in the heart of Miami Beach.

La Mar

One of the few places in Miami where the scenery isn’t at the expense of the food—the views and chef Diego Oka’s Peruvian cuisines are equally unparalleled. For a breezy waterfront brunch or romantic dinner with a clear shot of Brickell’s twinkling skyline. You’ll want to order up one of chef Oka’s delicate ceviches and the arroz chaufa (Peruvian fried rice), served tableside. Cocktail options are aplenty, but if this is your first time at La Mar, or trying Peruvian food altogether, the classic pisco sour is a must. Technically, La Mar is on Brickell Key, so you’ll have to go by UBER if you’re on Miami Beach.

Lagniappe

Part ramshackle backyard, part vintage saloon, the homey Lagniappe makes for the ideal laid-back date spot. Wine and food are ordered at the counter and paid for upfront, so you’ll get the awkwardness of splitting the bill over with quickly. A night at Lagniappe feels like a backyard bash at a friend’s—if said friend had a spacious yard filled with mismatched lawn furniture and strung-up bistro lights. It’s all very casual here: Walk in, pick your bottle from the cooler (generally stocked from small-production wineries) and take your selection to the register, where it’s uncorked before you head to the back to enjoy. This is the only restaurant on our list across the causeway, so it is a bit of a trek.
