The Marlton – A Hidden Jewel In The Village

The Marlton - A Hidden Jewel In The Village

Located in the heart of Greenwich Village and housed in a restored historic building, this Manhattan boutique hotel features on-site dining at the Margaux Restaurant, including a complimentary daily breakfast for hotel guests. The hotel is 550 feet from Washington Square Park. Two subway stations are nearby and New York University (NYU) is just down the block. Also on 8th Street is the Amelie Wine Bar and around the corner on 5th Avenue is Claudette, a wonderful French inspired restaurant.

If you have the $$$ to splurge, the balcony rooms at the top of the hotel are lovely. However, the regular rooms are just as delightful. They are small, but remember that back in the day this hotel was basically a boarding house. The penthouse suites are the only ones that take more that two guests. Even in the Twin room, you’re limited to two guests.

There are some great meeting and hang out spaces in the hotel. There is a work table in the main check in area along with an espresso bar. Next to that you’ll find a fireplace with seating area, more like a lounge area. Off from that is the Marlton Bar and the Margaux Restaurant.
